Founder Q&A

Clear answers for the moments before you share.

PitchSeen is designed to make investor sharing clearer for founders and easier for recipients. Here is what that means in practice.

Getting started

A simple founder flow.

Does the investor need a PitchSeen account?

No. A private deck recipient does not need a PitchSeen account. Starting a viewing session requires the code sent to the email address or phone number linked to the private link, and acceptance of the access acknowledgement. Browsing the investor portal requires sign-in.

What does the investor experience?

The recipient opens the private link in a browser, verifies the code sent to the linked email address or phone number, and accepts the access acknowledgement. Only permitted materials are shown once file processing is complete.

Do investors need the mobile app?

No. Recipients can view the private deck in their phone’s browser after verification and acceptance of the access acknowledgement, without installing an app.

Which languages does the public website support?

The public website has 12 interface languages: English, Arabic, Turkish, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Russian, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Urdu, Hindi, Dari and Italian. This does not mean your uploaded deck is automatically translated.

Signals and analytics

Useful facts, not inflated claims.

What exactly can I see?

The founder sees recorded link activity: opens, return visits, active viewing time, pages reached and the deck version viewed. These signals do not establish the viewer’s identity, that they read or understood the content, or that they intend to invest.

Does an open mean an investor is interested?

No. An open is an observed action, not a decision. PitchSeen helps you see context such as returns, active time and page progression so you can decide whether to follow up thoughtfully.

Will I always know exactly who opened a link?

Verification confirms that the recipient entered the code sent to the email address or phone number linked to the private link.

Control and updates

Keep your story current.

Can I update a deck after sending it?

Yes. When you replace the active deck version, active links open the new version after processing, without resending them. Earlier activity stays linked to the version that was shown.

Can I stop access after I share a link?

Yes. You can pause, revoke or set an expiry for PitchSeen-hosted access. The link then stops serving the deck in the viewer.

Can PitchSeen stop screenshots or copies?

You can pause, revoke or set an expiry for a link inside PitchSeen’s hosted viewer. Screenshots or copies outside that environment cannot be guaranteed against. Share sensitive material only with recipients you trust.

Plans and account

Start with the round you have.

What is included in the 14-day trial?

The trial gives you 14 days to test private sharing, access controls and engagement data before choosing a paid plan. Contact us with any questions.

When should I consider Go-Live or Pro?

Go-Live publishes an opportunity for 30 days, without automatic renewal. Pro is a recurring subscription.

Do plans renew automatically?

Go-Live is extended manually and does not renew automatically. Pro is a recurring subscription that you can manage from your account.
